Mabgeek Biotech Organizes Team Building Activities on Shangqing Ancient Road

In October, Shaoxing is refreshing with a bright sunshine and pleasant autumn colors. It is a good time for hiking. In order to enrich the cultural life of employees, advocate the concept of health, enhance communication among colleagues and improve team cohesion, Shanghai Mabgeek Biotech Co., Ltd. organized a team-building activity of "Hiking on Shangqing Ancient Road" from October 12 to 13, 2018.

Shangqing Ancient Road is more than 1,000 years old. It was an important transportation route from Shaoxing to Shengzhou and Xinchang in ancient times. It starts from Shangzao Village and ends at Qingtan Village. It consists of three sections: Rizhuling, Wanshou Mountain and Taoyanling. It is said that Tao Hongjing, a Taoist thinker and medical scientist during the Southern Dynasties of Qi and Liang, lived in seclusion here. Among them, Taoyanling Ancient Road is the best preserved. There are more than 1,400 stone steps up and down, and the winding road is more than two meters wide. It is the best scenery along the way.

On the ancient road, there are no beautiful flowers, but green bamboos; there is no flat road surface, but only weathered and mottled bluestone slabs. Thick tree roots lie across the road, green vines are wrapped around tree trunks, and uneven scars are like cold and precipitated eyes.

Through hiking activities, we who usually sit in the office can get closer to nature, feel the meaning of happy work and healthy life, and pass on positive energy while walking. During the event, colleagues fully demonstrated the spirit of positivity, health, upwardness, and teamwork. Everyone communicated happily, released emotions, and enjoyed sports. The 10-kilometer mountain journey also trained the willpower of many team members, enabling everyone to further overcome various unknown difficulties and challenges in the future. Everyone said that they benefited a lot from this event and look forward to the arrival of the next team building activity.
